Aspen Tree has opportunities for qualified volunteers who are interested in giving back to their community. Ways to get involved include business incubation, outreach, administrative duties, and curriculum development to name a few. Our public service initiatives call upon a diverse range talents and skill-sets. The work of community volunteers is critical in achieving the mission and vision of Aspen Tree. As a philanthropically oriented collective, we need your help in organizing and supporting our programs.

ABOUT

  • Welcoming various skills ie., legal, business, accounting, fundraising, therapists, etc.

  • Need for licensed therapists to work on and off site.

  • Need for community liaisons and people skilled at finding opportunities for growth ie., identifying client base.

  • Need for community organizers to initiate and host fundraisers.

  • Need for people who are knowledgeable in setting up an insurance program to cover supplemental tutoring.

  • Welcoming qualified community organizers, social workers, grant writers, program evaluators, curriculum developers, and educators.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Many roles will require Livescan fingerprint clearance and a background check.

  • Various positions require volunteers to be at least 18 years of age.

  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Administrative roles require a Bachelors Degree in the field applicable to your position.

  • Social workers must obtain a state licence and ideally posses a Master's Degree in their field.

    • Aspen Tree prohibits discrimination against and harassment of any employee or any applicant for employment or volunteer work because of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, veteran status or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law.
